I write regularly for the Guardian and have written for the Times, the Herald, Waitrose Food Illustrated / Waitrose Kitchen, Foodtripper, Fire & Knives and Guardian Travel. I was shortlisted by the Guild of Food Writers for their 2010 New Media award. I also publish a weekly round-up of the national critics' restaurant reviews at iStarvin.com. I grew up in Edinburgh.
