| Introduction | I am in awe of those who have the ability to put down words that take your breath away and take you to places that you otherwise unable to reach. Those writers who have helped shape our beliefs and filled our minds with possibility whatever genre they write about. I came to the mechanical process of writing as an adult, somehow I feared that the words would get lost, scared that what was in my head would be different once it was given life on paper. I began writing as an adult, encouraged by my family and by the continued professional support of Margaret Graham, Julie Lyn Evans and other writers and friends. I was inspired by my children to work through the obstacles and rejection, looking for the courage to not fear my own limitations and overcome the difficulties and personal challenges writing can bring. I have learnt to be the conductor of my own orchestra professionally and personally. The Little Book of Hope is a testament to that belief. |
