Introduction Susanna is an Italian dance-artist, performer and teacher based in London. She initially studied dance at the National Academy of Dance in Rome, then trained at Laban where she gained a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies and the BA (Hons) Course in Dance Theatre, and received “The Marion North Award” for outstanding achievement in Performance in 2004. Following a Foundation Course in Dance Movement Therapy at Goldsmiths University, she has attended a Yoga Teacher Training Course and is now certified Yoga teacher. She has completed the MA in Dance & Somatic Well-Being at UCLAN. Susanna is one of the founding members of the performance group Lapsus Corpi (directed by Efrosini Protopapa) and has performed in all their productions to date. She has collaborated with several artists as a performer and has devised her own work joining practitioners from different disciplines such as music, photography and film. She has taught release technique, improvisation, experiential anatomy, yoga and movement research workshops in the UK, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Iceland.
