| Introduction | Hi, I am a retired Nurse, who now spends my time trying to create my own little oasis away from the world. I now want to concentrate on crafts, quilting and generally anything creative, learning new skills and techniques. I have a couple of little volunteer projects I work away on, you will see more information about these under my WOP page. I am also beginning on my journey towards becoming a backyard farmer and building a food forest. I just want to grow as much fresh organic food for me and my family and be able to share the surplus. I am a Mother to two terrific and funny girls, a 26 year old who is a Nurse and Midwife and the 19 year old who is a Physiotherapy student. They too are into crafts as you will see with our joint projects and are often having adventures through their volunteer positions.
