| Introduction | Why "Blueberry"? In case you don't know... When I was pregnant with our little girl I subscribed to babycenter.com for the weekly updates on the developing babe. One of the first emails I got compared her growing little body to the approximate size of a blueberry. Mark and I started calling her our little blueberry (especially since the pregnancy was still a secret) and let's just say the name stuck even after she outgrew a blueberry. We were a little indecisive about the real birth certificate name until the very end, so family and friends were forced into using blueberry too for lack of a better substitute! Many still call her Blueberry (one little cousin calls her BlueMary) so we will see how long it sticks! I am pretty sure when she is in trouble in the years to come her real full name will come into play... "Blueberry, if you know what's best for you..." does not sound very serious! |
