Introduction	Velody has sung for TV, supplied troupes of vintage dancers for several BBC and ITV productions and curated both swing and blues dance festivals in her home town of Manchester, UK since 2012. Velody began her swing and blues dance journey in the Spring of 2008. Travelling internationally for dance ever since, she has taught and DJd for swing and blues dance across the UK, Europe and the US. She founded and still chairs Manchester's not for profit Basement Blues in 2011, and is the MC and co-host of Cotton City Blues: a sumptuous weekend of wall-to-wall blues music and dancing, held in the autumn. In addition, she is a master performance coach, sharing her insights into the power of mindset with her dancing students in private lessons and regular dance classes & events.
