Introduction	I was recently asked (in an interview) to sum up my career in one word. 'Teacher' sounds such a small word and it could easily be glossed over, but that's really what I am. I'm a teacher. I love to teach children, young people, adults, family, friends, colleagues. There's something wonderful about passing on knowledge, facilitating learning, setting up challenges and ultimately changing someone's life. I'm also something of a geek. I love finding and playing with new tech-toys. I write code over breakfast. I think that Web 2.0 really is the best thing since sliced bread and better than the bees' knees. Put the two together and you've got me - a slightly nutty non-professor... ed-tech geeky teacher who loves passing tips and tricks.

Favorite movies	I'm quite fussy really: Educating Rita, History Boys, Dead Poets Society - that kind of thing. Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Storm Breaker. Musicals - Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Saving Mr Banks.
Favorite music	Rend Collective, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman - they are currently my favourites.
