| Introduction | I left a busy career in marketing and public relations to stay home and raise my family. I've used my skills and talents on the volunteer front, chairing many committees, putting my event planning to good use, and raising funds for a number of worthy charities. Most recently, I have gone back to work, this time teaching dance, which keeps me on my toes (quite literally). My love of cooking, sampling wine and entertaining was a catalyst for my food blog. Currently serving as CEO of the Owens family, I balance the “must do’s” with the “want-to-do’s” on a daily basis. |
| Interests | I am a busy gal, balancing work and family. I am a BODY PUMP QUEEN at the YMCA, dance to the beat of my heart teaching ballet, tap and jazz at Boni's Dance and Performing Arts. I enjoy cooking, sampling delectable wines and being with my family and friends. |
| Favorite movies | Gone With The Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Pretty Woman, Over the Hedge, Enchanted, Sleeping Beauty, pretty much anything involving a crown. |
| Favorite music | I love to dance, so I love music I can move to. I love it all: Contempory Christian, George Strait, John Legend, Pink, The Beatles, Prince, U2, Meghan Trainor, Pitbull, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, etc. |
| Favorite books | The Bible, The Ya-Ya's, The Shopaholic Series, The Devil in the Junior League, The Help,anything fun and light. I enjoy Elin Hildebrandt, Mia King, Sophie Kinsella, Rebecca Wells, etc. |
