| Introduction | I am a rock climbing and mountaineering instructor based in the Forest of Dean, where I have easy access to the limestone cliffs of the Wye Valley. Although having climbable rock only 500 mtrs away from where I live, I take every opportunity to climb in North Wales, Scotland, Picos De Europa - Spain and the European Alps. I have worked for 15 years as a climbing instructor - with work as varied as abseiling off city centre towers to trek leading in the Arctic.
