Describe the sound of a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle.
Is the waffle cooked or uncooked? Because technically an uncooked waffle would just be batter . . . so assuming it's already a waffle waffle . . . it would make kind of a thump followed by hissing as it seared to the surface of the griddle. If you're re-heating them - don't do it this way, put them in the toaster - mmmmm. And add ice cream.
