IntroductionI adore and love my son and daughter in a way I didnt previously know existed. They've instilled in my life a balance I wouldnt otherwise have, they're everything to me and I'm so proud of them. In my "past life" I was an apparel designer/product developer for those "mall" stores. It was an opportunity that gave me great experiences and opportunities, but it was well time to give up that fast paced lifestyle when kids came along. About the time my daughter turned 2, my creative juices felt the need to be exercised. I found myself drawn to the vintage textiles I found at antique fairs and markets. I began making things with these beautiful fabrics - for my daughter to wear, things for my home, things for my friends, thier kids, their homes. 7 years later, after a few missteps and more than a little inconsistency deciding what to do with my life, I'm finding the way to make sense of how to do what I love.
