Introduction Dave Tebbs grew up in suburbs of Nottingham with David Lynch and Willard Price before moving to Hull to study Fine Art. He was briefly chucked off the course after running away to France with another student and almost (and innocently) destroying a tutors marriage. He had his first kebab in the back of a van with John Peel favourites Death by Milkfloat, played pool with Charlie Harper and interviewed Esther Rantzen whilst wearing a rubber wolf mask. He has exhibited paintings and other works of art in a number of venues in the UK and invented two board games, when not doing any of the aforementioned Tebbs is most likely to be found plotting. He has the phone numbers of two famous people in his phone and dreams of meeting Stan Lee. David Tebbs currently divides his time between his home, 2 minutes off the motorway and an imaginary place where dreams really do come true. The last two projects Tebbs has worked on was a series of letters written to every entry in an old address book he’d kept in 1987 and found whilst moving house and his latest – the 365 micro story project.
