Introduction Business Librarian at the Poudre River Public Library District in Colorado. As the Poudre Libraries Business Librarian, I work with the Small Business Development Center clients, technology incubator clients, job seekers and career changers-providing demographic, industry and market information. My education includes a BA in History from UC Berkeley, a MA in History from Colorado State University, and an MLS from the University of Washington. While at the University of Washington I received a minor in Administrative Organizations from their Business School. This led to work in the UWashington Business Library as well as several years as the business librarian at the University of Wyoming. While raising my two kids, I worked as an independent/freelance grant writer and nonprofit consultant, nonprofit program manager and executive director. I'm happy to be back in the business library world, and excited about the research and information that a business owner, a nonprofit manager, a job seeker or career changer can get through the library.
Interests Writing: published several short stories and one novel, A Short Time in Luxembourg (Gardenia Press, 2004)--available in the Poudre River Public Library District -- Main and Harmony. My short stories wil soon be on my (upcoming) publishing website. I'm also working on a degree in Irish Studies.
