| Introduction | Welcome! My name is Valerie and I am so glad you are here. I love all things preppy and plaid...gingham and monogrammed.., but I also love simple living and country life. If I had to describe my style it would be "Modern Farmhouse". I currently live among the sunflowers and wheat fields of Kansas with my fire-fighting husband of 20 years and three precious kiddos. I strive to make our Greek Revival-style farmhouse a haven and love all things domestic. Besides answering to the call of "Mom", I also am called "teacher". I recently returned to work as a part-time parochial school Resource Room Specialist. I love working with special needs kiddos and feel blessed to be both at-home and back in the classroom. |
