| Introduction | Born in Chatta-boogie, spent most of my adult life in the seven-year bachelor degree program in Athens, GA before graduating from arguably one of the best journalism schools in the country at UGA. Couldn't get a job in the field so slummed at a health insurance company for a few years before recognizing my true calling of being a tireless supporter of single moms in the adult entertainment industry. Currently residing in The Dirty Dirty and playing way too much fucking Foghat at The Cheetah in midtown. Yeah, obviously single, but I've given it a shot. |
| Interests | I like long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners and crap like that... I mostly enjoy melting faces and talking to people who aren't wearing clothes. I also drink Jack Daniel's in a competitive manner. |
| Favorite movies | Lebowski (most Coen Bros. stuff... Even Barton Fink), Trainspotting, Ghostbusters, Shawshank, Taxi Driver (almost anything by Scorcese), The Commitments, I like all the Tarantino movies, most of the Cameron Crowe movies... It's been a minute since I saw anything worth a shit. I generally like seeing shit blowing up and people throwing poo at each other. |
| Favorite music | Old punk (Ramones, Clash, SLF), fucking awesome old heavy metal (Priest, Maiden), Drive-By Truckers (in a class by themselves), Anything by rock stars that die of unnatural or self-destructive means (Elliott Smith, I'm speaking in your general direction), I like dirty, filthy rap music that gives me most of my pick-up lines, currently I perpetuate my aging hipster status by liking a bunch of macro an micro indie rock bands (I won't deny that I shop at Urban Outfitters fairly often.) |
| Favorite books | Chuck Klosterman rules me, Lester Bangs really got me into cough syrup, I mostly stick to various blogs on the big, fancy Internet or anything I can read while I'm marking my territory. |
