Introduction | I have been creating most of my life. My entire family is creative from quilting to woodworking, blacksmithing, illustrating, landscaping, beadwork and more... My own creative focuses range from pyrographic art to bead work, paper arts and pottery. My professional design work has spanned over 30 years with 10 of that working in the ceramic industry. I have shown my pottery at juried shows and galleries and it is available at my family's store in Pendleton, The Mercantile. Although I grew up in Alfred, NY, the home of the New York State College of Ceramics, I majored in Psychology. But my passion has always been creating and sharing it with the public. I began teaching at The Mercantile in 2000, focusing on paper arts & bead work Additionally, I am certified and teach Art Clay Silver. Winner of the Judge's Choice - Best Pottery/Ceramics at Celebrate Clayton 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012, Clayton, GA. |
