Introduction	I grew up in Pillgwenlly, the dockland area of Newport. Growing up in "Pill" was a wonderful experience of Trains, Ships,corner shops, Industry and squeeky tired old buildings of the most wonderful character and quallity The people of old Pill were some of the nicest folk in this world. My background is photojournalism, Heritage and Transport. I run and maintain a moderate picture and information library, based on Heritage subjects. I think that modern architecture lacks style, imagination and romance. Therefore I decided to create my own world based on all of the things that I love and grew up with. I make model buildings, for fun and for people who share my love of history I have in the past used this medium to help those with mental health difficulties and hope to continue with similar projects in the future. My maxim is "Always look at the past or you wont know where you will go in the future." This blog is about Pill and also about models and heritage.
