| Introduction | I was a secondary school science teacher for more years than I care to remember. 12 years ago my husband, a wine tragic, and I bought a small vineyard, and we retired to a life as grapegrowers and wine makers. I now lead a life which I had never envisioned during our life as city dwellers. I am learning to quilt; preserve local fruits in season; cook better than I did before; learn the piano; and try to outwit our free-range chooks to find where they lay their daily eggs. I hope that you enjoy reading about some of my interesting and/or crazy days on the farm. |
