Introduction Movies have always been my passion, and I’ve dedicated a significant portion of my life over the past 30 years watching thousands and thousands of new releases and classics. So, while earning my master’s degree at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, I began reviewing movies as a film critic for ASU’s The State Press. It turned out to be a natural fit. Over the years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the journalism roles I experienced – including positions in television, radio and print - but I especially love being a movie critic. These days I watch between 150 and 200 films in the theatres every year, and pick up many others on video. My goal? To help you make an informed decision on whether or not a movie will be worth your time…and your $10. I hope you find my blog helpful and informative, and if you appreciate classic films, I write about them on examiner.com - http://www.examiner.com/classic-movies-in-phoenix/jeff-mitchell - as well. Thank you for your interest and support. - Mitch
