| Introduction | Hello, My name is Kay Dively and I have been with the Sewin’ Sisters Sowing for a few years now. I waited until retirement to “join the club”. What a waste of precious time. I should have become a Sewin’ Sister the minute I heard about this fantastic group of dedicated ladies who, through their steadfast belief in God and His power, have bonded to create a dynamic force to help meet the needs of others. When I became a Sewin’ Sister I was met with open arms and open hearts. It didn’t matter what I could do, whatever my talent might be, it would be put to good use. The feeling of acceptance was immediate. I learned that everyone can contribute, in his/her own way, and be a valued asset. The Sewing Sisters have provided me a solid basis for expressing my spiritual side and have helped me to grow. There is always support for each other whatever the need; celebrations or challenges, there is always someone there. |
