| Introduction | In the US Navy in the 60's, worked for state government for 30 years, Retired in late 2002 (yahoo), have one son aged 40, one grand-dog, divorced many, many, many years ago. Spent 7 mos this past year in my RV and i was lonely, so decided to return to Central Oregon to get my own place ( had been renting as a room mate for the past 6 years) Strongly felt i needed to provide a safe place for my son to land as he had been basically homeless the past 3 yrs, living in an rv in the woods of LaPine. I KNOW this is not my responsibility but felt really strongly this was something i needed to do. so the Blog went from RVing to home ownership and the trials that entailed. I have not given up on the rv life and if financially able hope to winter in the southwestern states. Really liked Palm Springs when i was there, Arizona and New Mexico, so want to see more of that area of the world. |
