Introduction Thanks for checking out my blog, which is a companion piece to my book, "Saucy Broad: A Culinary Manifesto of Hope," which will be published by Gut Check Press in Winter 2010. "Saucy Broad" is my first book, but I've been reading (Jane Austen, Daphne Du Maurier, Ted Kluck), writing (editing Ted Kluck), and cooking forever. I am not Martha Stewart (rich lady cooking for other rich ladies), nor am I the Pioneer Woman (rich lady pretending to be "down to earth" lady). I cook because I love food, and I love entertaining people and making them happy. I am wife to a semi-famous author, (www.tedkluck.com), and mother to two energetic young boys (8 and 4). Random things I like: Maps. Flowers. Michigan. Colors that are named after foods (ex: Paprika, Boysenberry, Latte). Autumn. Traveling (I've lived in Ukraine and Lithuania). Visit www.gutcheckpress.com for updates on the book, and come back often!
