| Introduction | Personal information: I'm married with two daughters, Kate & Emma. Mary & I have 4 grandchildren, Louisa, William, Harry & Ruby. I have taught in England, Brunei, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Qatar & the UAE. |
| Interests | Interests and activities: I have worked at Bell Educational Trust Summer Schools in England, 1992-96, at Eton, Culford and Ely. At Eton I was a group tutor and master i/c CALL; at Ely I was involved in English teaching, special interest groups and in sports & social activities; at Culford I was Director of Administration. With Bell, as in all my previous posts, I have played a full part in sporting and other extra-curricular activities. In sport my main interest has always been rugby, having played for Westleigh (Leics), Bromsgrove (Worcs) and Calder Vale (Lancs) RFCs. Former member Leicestershire and North Midlands Referees’ Societies. Represented Brunei as a rugby player in the annual triangular Borneo Cup v. Sabah & Sarawak. Still actively participate in squash and tennis, and have represented the British Club in the ADSRA league 1992-4 & 2003 to the present. Wide experience of residential duties and of organising special interest groups, theatre trips, school visits, and holidays. |
