Introduction	I created this blog to discuss what I saw that was not working in higher ed. I have a varied background and am uniquely qualified to comment on the broken state of U.S. universities. I worked in industry for 35 years before attending Texas Tech University and graduating with an MBA and a doctorate in Business Administration. I spent the next eleven years teaching information systems at the university level, the last six at Oklahoma State University. I now do freelance editing (https://fglancyediting.com/ ) primarily for academic researchers. He is also learning lampworking borosilicate glass.
