| Introduction | I should have been a seal, a tern, a seagull, a sea captain. Instead I pursued a career in human resources and played drums and guitar in various bands throughout the years. I love boating like music, always have. I haven't figured out what the allure is, but it's always been there and like music, it's captivated me from an early age. I love being outdoors, in the back yard, in the woods, on a ski slope, but mostly on the water. Lately I've been writing non-fiction about some of those experiences; the latest book title being, Lubber's Log (Llumina Press). |

| Favorite music | My favorite genres are rock, blues, country, jazz and classical baroque. I'm a fan of guitar players, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Mayer. |
| Favorite books | I have enjoyed Moby Dick, all of the Nelson DeMille novels particularly Plum Island, Nightfall and the Guest House. Historical accounts re: Ben Franklin, John Adams, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and the other founding fathers. |
