| Introduction | I am Dr. Matt, I went to medical school because I believed I could help people. After medical school (and 1/4 million $ student loan debt) I opened my own practice and turned away no one, insurance, no insurance, all insurance, if you needed health care I cared for you. I believed that I belonged to the community as a resource and if I took care of them, they would take care of me. After two and a half years I closed my practice financially destitute and broken hearted. I dont practice medicine any more (despite my 750K debt) and am filling bankruptcy. There is something very wrong!!! |
