| Introduction | My life changed when I accepted Christ in my life. Little did I know about the things I would have to face, & the adventures that laid before me. At the age of 28 I was diagnosed with colon cancer in the 1st stage. With much prayer & surgery I walked away with clean health. God does heal even when the Dr. is involved. After that I returned to an adult high school to get my high school diploma. A few years later I was able to start college. Just like anyother 1st time student, my question was, "what am I taking this for?" With just one year left I will have my AA in Social Services. In 2007 I got to full fill my dream. I tried out for the Nashville Storm, a semi pro-football team and made it. I played two years with the storm as Linebacker, D-End, and Special Teams Capt. Due to age and injuries I am now assistant to the Def. Coordinator. Last year I got to do something that I never thought I would do in my life. I had the honor to answer the calling to visit Ethiopia and Rwanda for 2 wks. 2 wks of just loving on children and meeting new people, and seeing things that I never thought I would see in my life. Now I am making plans for my 2nd trip back there. What fun. |

| Favorite music | Anything except for songs that degrade women, country, and bluegrass. |
| Favorite books | There is a lot here too. All of Max Lucado's books, Sacred Romance, Journey of Desire, Wild at Heart, Captivating by John Eldredge I know why the caged bird by sings by Maya Angelou, any thing by Frank Peretti, 48 days to the Work You Love by Dan Miller, Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey, The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas, The # 1 book is of course the Bible, especially 1&2 Samuel, Psalms, and Ephesians. |
What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
The earliest that I have gotten up was at 4:30 in the morning and that picture of the Indian was on with the loud beep noise along with it. Then I got into trouble for being up so early. I didn't know.
