Introduction The New Century IDA empowers those with low and moderate income through asset building, financial literacy classes, credit counseling, and step by step guidance to successful homeownership. With innovative classes and their hands on/high touch approach to teaching successful homeownership, as well as the use of success coaches to guide participants through the classes and home buying process, the New Century IDA’s program has shown a great success rate. Since it's formation in 1999 more than 400 individuals have successfully purchased their dream home through this program.
