Introduction I no longer know who I am. My physical health has been in a steady state of decline for some time, now, and all I really know has become pain. The intensity varies from barely tolerable to an extreme that leaves me in total agony. I was brought up to believe that men don’t cry, but alone, at night, I can’t help but break into tears. There is nothing left for me in this world but unending pain. I’m seeing the doctor on Monday for permission to return to work. I’m hoping to get a prescription for a strong pain medication. I plan to work out the last of my days, and to pray every night that God bring me home to be with my dog, Hope. I’m doing research into what drugs are available on the street to relieve pain. If I’m working, I could afford around $1,500 per week to put toward some kind of medication to relieve the pain. I just have to make it to Monday, and then I’ll go from there. I have a .40 Cal. S & W on my desk, and a .38 Special on the wall behind me. Every few minutes I look at them. May God guide me, and let me know when their use, the final option, should be invoked.
