Travelling Australia with the Buchanan Family

Introduction	It has been our dream to travel this beautiful country of ours for the past ten years, finally we have taken the leap and are about to set off for our trip of a lifetime. For those of you who don't know us we have John and Kylie, kids Kirsty 17, Josh 15 and Clare 10. Kirsty has taken a gap year from University with Josh and Clare doing home schooling while we travel. We purchased our Windsor Genesis caravan (known as winnie) 2 years ago in preparation for the trip. We purchased our 100 series landcruiser (known as the beast) in October last year we are still trying to work out if this was a good decision as John has spent a huge amount of time and effort trying to get it ready. Departure is looming and preparations have been in full swing, follow our blog for all our adventures and misadventures that are to be experienced.
