| Introduction | Husband to a patient wife and father to two young boys. While they are my life, golf is my passion. I love playing great courses - new and historic - and checking off some Top 100 courses along the way. My index ranges from 0 to 3, but not anywhere consistent enough to impress anyone. I used to log 40-50 rounds per year, but after recently relocating to Scarsdale, NY, from Newport Beach, CA, that's unlikely to continue. As it turns out, Winter is a real thing! I qualified for the U.S. Mid Amateur in 2005, but have been trying to fight my way back since that time to no avail. A young family has that effect, but it is a good trade off. After being a member of Big Canyon CC in Newport, I'm going to be a muni golfer for awhile in NY. I need to find a new club, but I'm not rushing it. These are my stories and reviews of courses, primarily to serve as a diary of my journeys. I hope to play all of the Top 100 someday (whatever that means since the list is ever-changing), but it could take decades to come close. |
