| Introduction | I have been teaching for 23 years. While presently I teach first grade, I have also taught preschool, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade. I was honored to receive the Deaver Foundation Teacher of the Year in south Florida in 2008. Most recently, I was recognized as the 2012 Michigan Lutheran School Early Childhood Educator of the Year. I received my undergrad degree from Concordia University-Chicago and completed my Master's Degree as a reading specialist in 2013 from Saginaw Valley State University. I am blessed and humbled daily as I share Jesus with the students in my classroom. |
