| Introduction | You may be wondering right now, what the hell is a "SMAG"? Sounds derrogatory, condescending and possibly quite offensive, and in all truthfulness, that probably isn't too far off. According to a certain male-friend-of-a-friend, who shall mercifully remain nameless, a "SMAG" is a "Small-to-Medium Asian Girl." Used in a sentence, it goes something like this: "No big girls or ethnic chicks for me, dude, I only date SMAGs." That is, in fact, the context in which this acronym was originally used. Rather than responding with righteous indignation or disgust, the keen sense of humor that is shared by both of us quickly won out. We decided that this was a fair enough assessment; both of these girls are SMAG's in mind and spirit, even if they may not fit therather constricting dimensions of a true SMAG in purest physical terms (this friend-of-a-friend restricted his ideal SMAG prototype to specifications of 5'2" and approx. 115 pounds, that douchebaggy a-hole). Rest assured, though, that Lydia and Alex are true SMAG's through and through, time-tested and approved and voted by nearly unanimous consensus. They are truly the smaggiest SMAG's you could ever hope to meet. |
