| Introduction | I am a children's book illustrator, watercolor artist, and my favorite thing to do is, of course, paint.... I LOVE IT! When not in my studio, I'm in my garden, or curled up with a good book. Painting watercolor has been my passion for many years, and then I was given a wonderful opportunity to illustrate a children's book, WOW! A life long dream. Three more books were to follow and I can't begin to tell you what fun it is for me! Join and watch my blog. See how I develop my favorite illustrations and how, sometimes, they don't always go according to plan. But Oh... the successful ones... they are a joy! When you see a golden retriever in my illustrations you are meeting my son's dogs, Bic and Rowdy.... or, as I like to say my Grandoggies :) It's fun for me to use family, friends, pets and familiar surroundings in my illustrations.
