| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, reader, a friend to the elderly population, many of whom have no family and are lonely and often, forgotten. Luci is my therapy Corgi,given as a birthday gift a year and half ago by my husband. She was 8 weeks old when we adopted her. She has become a family member, loves people, and loves meeting new people, nursing home visits and making new friends everywhere we go. She is, indeed a gift from God, and a natural with her 'work' of therapy dog! I have renewed/revised my devotional, http://sheri-dailybreadoflife-devotional@blogspot.com. I wrote devotionals for six years through a website, but this time decided to go with a blog! At the end of December, I was invited to join a Cyber Christian Writers Group, 'The Light Brigade' and being a part of this committed Christian group is a blessing and answer to prayers as to the direction God had for my life. After retiring a year ago from social service work, and searching for my call and purpose...God gave me peace about the decision to write as a career/profession! |
