| Introduction | I am an artist and educator currently researching ways in which the arts facilitate communication in people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Furthemore, I believe that through artistic work people with Alzheimer's disease may continue to learn, develop insight into the present moment and communicate themes of importance. This in turn improves quality of life and instills feelings of wellbeing. |
