About me

Introduction	I had been sleeping next to two books for a few years, The New York Times Pocket World Atlas and The World Cycling Adventures Handbook. The pages were so folded I could barely read them anymore. After 9 years in Alaska I finally bought a plane ticket to England and bought a bike. I then peddled through Wales to Ireland. I was having so much fun, I flew to Bangkok, Thailand and cycled Thailand,Loas, Vietnam, China across Mongolia and onward to do some climbing in Nepal. I then took out my atlas and decided to cycle the rest of the way around the world. Just about everyone I meet asks me if I am alone. So just so you know without having to wonder, yes I am a cycling, solo, female, traveler and storyteller. I am writing this blog for family given and chosen and for friends old and new who have mentioned they sometimes worry and would love to hear some stories.
