| Introduction | This blog is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to provide an informal policy dialogue on ecosystem management. The blog is based on the topics published under the UNEP Policy Series on Ecosystem Management - a quarterly publication of UNEP that highlights important policy aspects on the ecosystem approach. The UNEP Policy Series is published in English, French and Spanish. It brings into focus the various ecosystem management policy measures, challenges, and options that will provide for the sustainable delivery of ecosystem services. This blog compliments the Series by providing an opportunity for people at all levels to comment on policy issues, ask questions, or propose topics for future issues in the UNEP Policy Series on Ecosystem Management. All papers published in the UNEP Policy Series are written and reviewed by experts on the subject matter. Care is taken to convey a balanced view on a subject matter, however the views expressed in the UNEP Policy Series are those of the author(s) and do not reflect the official position of the United Nations Environment Programme. |
