| Introduction | The Community KNIT project is created to promote the idea of community working together creatively through craft and hand-made items. A series of strangers at random times knitting with their style and their craft in public cafes. In the end, we together create one finished piece that becomes a reflection of all the hands involved. The goal, is ten community-knitted scarves by Spring 2010 which will be auctioned off to raise funds for a local charity. Support us by stopping in to knit a few rows or a bunch of rows, donate yarn left over from your own knitting projects, and in the Spring keep watching for our auction of ten beautiful community-created scarves!
