| Introduction | I was born in Kulim, Malaysia in the early sixties. My father, Haji Buang Haji Awang bin Sulaiman passed away on 26 September 1999 (may Allah bless his soul). He was a Malay Language and history teacher. His last job was the head master at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Permatang Tok Dik Padang Serai, Kedah for which he was bestowed Pingat Cemerlang Kedah from His Majesty Sultan of Kedah. He was a life member of Kedah GPMS. My mother Hajjah Azizah Haji Yaacub was also a school teacher. She passed away on 11 March 2016 (may Allah bless her soul). I have four sisters and three brothers. I am the eldest in the family and married to Raihanah in 1988. We have four children and two grandchildren. |
