| Introduction | I am a wife to Jeremy and mom of 3-Riley who is 9, Drew who is 6, and Jordan who is 3. Our boys keep us busy with their activities. Both are in Cub Scouts and play just about every sport-baseball, basketball, football and now want to add soccer. Jeremy and I play volleyball too Needless to say, you can find us on a field or court somewhere! Jordan keeps us on our toes too. Not only because she is 3, but she was also born with congenital heart defects. Shortly after her 1st birthday, Jordan was diagnosed with a AV transitional canal and a cleft mitral valve. She was already in mild congestive heart failure and open heart surgery was scheduled within days of her diagnosis. Amazingly, we were in and out of the hospital within 5 days. Currently, Jordan has a murmur and subaortic stenosis. We have her ticker checked out with an EKG and an Echo yearly. |
