| Introduction | I have been married to my husband John since 1975. A long time, but it has flown by! He's the love of my life!( My maiden name is Burch.) We were not blessed with children of our own...but we have a slew of nieces and nephews who keep our hearts full and quite satisfied. Our kids are of the 4 legged persuasion...two Schnauzer girls, Jill and Trinket, and a Black cat, Sissy, who has no idea she's a cat... thinks she too is a Schnauzer. I grew up as an Air Force brat...and had the good fortune to travel to many places in the world while my father defended our country. We lived on Guam and traveled to places like the Phillippines, Hong Kong, Japan....you get the picture!!?? Our classroom was the world, and I so appreciate the opportunities my parents provided for us kids. (There are 4 of us....Pat, Sally, me (Kate), and Rob. John and I met in Texas...and several years later we moved to Phoenix, Arizona where we spent the next 25 years.(We actually lived in Tempe.) We recently moved back to Tyler, TX and are living in a wonderful old house in the Azalea/Brick Street District. I have named our little corner of the world...Brick Street Farm. |
