| Introduction | I love the interplay of light and color. I paint what has startled me into looking at a scene with a different perspective. Finding the essence transforms a view into a visual experience. I chose watercolors since they are naturally flowing and alive. I do not use white paint but set no boundaries on the tools used to apply and manipulate the paint. Compositions come from multiple photographs, rearranged objects and reimagined colors. Many things are worthy of our attention. I invite you to explore the world of each painting, look anew, and wonder at a subject that you think you know. |
