| Introduction | I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, gardening, watching the birds & squirrels, playing the guitar, singing, reading, writing, and spending time with friends. I also enjoy good food, red wine and dark chocolate (not necessarily in that order). I am part of a group called the "Whiffenpoofs" which visits Assisted Living Facilities and Alzheimer Centers with our guitars and voices to sing WITH the residents, songs from their era - and ours. My husband of forty years, went to be with the Lord almost six years ago, after a long battle with cancer. I still miss him. My animals manage to keep me busy meeting their needs and responding to their demands. The dogs are my walking buddies and while I would rather not have to stop and sniff every pillar and post, I like company when I walk so we compromise and stop at every pillar and post. Sleeping arrangements are not necessarily what I would have designed, but it's nice to hear someone snoring on the other pillow. Life is good. |
