| Introduction | I'm from the island of Guam. I was an avid baseball player who picked up the sport of running in 1999 only after injuring my hand in a game. Since then, running has become a part of life. My long-term running goal was to break 2:30 in the marathon. I finally achieved it at the age of 44 running 2:29:48 at the 2022 Boston Marathon. I'm currently the Guam National Record Holder (2:29:38; Chicago 2023) in the Marathon. |
