| Introduction | I am happy to be married for 15 years now (2nd marriage)and I have 3 boys. I have a Master's degree in Nursing that did not come easy to me. However, the most important thing about me and the primary reason for this blog is that I am the adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse. It has taken me many years to finally come to even actually admit that this is what affects my thoughts and the way that I think and behave at times, but just acknowledging it has been a step in the right direction. I plan to use this blog as a place to write and reflect on my thoughts and feelings and I hope that people who find themselves in the same place as myself will feel free to read the posts, reflect, and share if they would like, or just take away and work through their own struggles with their therapists as they choose to do so, but most of all, I hope that those who do visit find this a place to learn and move on to the next level in their lives if this is possible for them:-). C |
