| Introduction | My name is Ashin Javana. I was born at Ywa Thar village, Kume, Myit Thar Twonship, Mandalay division, Myanmar. When I was 9 years old, I entered the order of the novice. I studied the Buddhist Pali texts in many cities namely Amarapura, Yangon, Tha Ton, Mandalay. I got Sasana takkasila dhammacariya degree (B.A) at the State Pariyatti Sasana University in Mandalay of Myanmar. And then, I completed my doubled M.A at two universities: Buddhist and Pali University and University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. Now I have been doing my Ph.D in Pali at the University of Pune in India. The name of my thesis is "The Late Venerable Moe Gok Sayadaw's Meditation Method in Myanmar". I want to be an outstanding blogger but I am not expert at it. I am still learning it. |
