| Introduction | My paintings come from my imaginary world, showing the inner me, sometimes romantic, sometimes a dreamer, sometimes naive and childish. Strange characters coming from the fairy tales of my childhood, the enchanted forest with fabulous creatures, they all have a place in my paintings. Animals and birds or just trees are living beings and express emotions composing life itself. Most of them are meant to be joyful and bring good mood, others are mysterious but each painting represents my feelings at a certain moment, how I saw and perceived some time of my life or people I met in my life and had an impact on it. Delicate harmonies of fine lines flourishing on canvas, contrast with color extravaganza. The shapes are coming out of my head, sometimes geometric, sometimes organic, the colors used are pure, making a vibrant game with the accent on character. The perception of artwork may be different from person to person, depending on the baggage of knowledge one possesses, on one’s need for wellbeing, truth and beauty. I have not yet tried to send a message, but only to express my thoughts and feelings. My paintings depict myself. |
