About me

Introduction I'm a land use attorney admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. I have written on and participated in various issues related to land use over the past fifteen years. As a student, I monitored and wrote on trends in land use politics; as an attorney, I have played a role in important land development approval processes across New Jersey and New York. I earned my B.A. in History and Urban Studies from Northwestern University. I received a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999. While at Georgetown, I worked for the Harrison Institute, a clinical program devoted to a wide range of policy issues – from international affairs to domestic issues such as health care and the environment. There I helped craft a new zoning ordinance for Montgomery County, Maryland. I'm a native of the New York metropolitan area. I reside in Brooklyn with my wife and son.
