| Introduction | The inspiration for "Performing the Classics" came from the desire to bring to life, through drama, the stories that have been read and reread by past and present generations. Timeless stories that still bring laughter, tears, and simple lessons about life to their readers. "Performing the Classics" was started in 2012, by Noelle Gibbons, and Abby Swanson. Our first production was "Anne of Green Gables." The ages of our performers range from 13-18 years old. Our desire is that we create an environment of learning, not only about acting, but also to engage in the books themselves and learn from the characters and stories we are portraying. |
